Palm Springs Carriages was established in 1988 with just a single horse and carriage.
Roxanne and Diane, both lifelong horsewomen, and former drivers for the previous owner, now run
three carriages on the street and five wonderful draft horses. We also keep an antique carriage for special events. We have carriage rides running 6 evenings per week, Friday thru Wednesday leaving from Palm Canyon Drive in front of the Historic Village Green. We will give you a lively tour of the Palm Springs Strip or a wonderful tour of the Historic Tennis Club District. Our courteous and knowledgeable drivers will give you the option of a either narrated historical tour or a quiet relaxing ride through beautiful historic buildings that have been the playground of the Hollywood celebrities since the 1920's. Reservations are not required for these tours.
Or in the cooler months from September through May, we offer, in addition to our regular evening tours, longer tours of 1 1/2 to 3 hours, including the Historic Las Palmas area, known as the Beverly Hills of Palm Springs; taking you on a leisurely carriage tour of the homes of many past and present celebrities. These additional tours are by reservation only and run during the daytime hours.
We also offer customized packages for weddings, Quinceañera, anniversaries, birthdays, parades, or your special event.
